Hello. I’m a writer from coastal Massachusetts who writes about memory, the limits of individual perspective, and New England.

My debut novel, Women and Children First, was released in 2024 and named a best book of the year by NPR, Vogue, Marie Claire, and more. I hold a B.A. from the University of Pennsylvania and an M.F.A. from Vanderbilt University. My work has been supported by the Sewanee Writers’ Conference, Aspen Words, Community of Writers, and the Juniper Summer Writing Institute. I currently live in Madison and serve as the James C. McCreight fellow at the Wisconsin Institute for Creative Writing.
